Era veramente super!!!!!! La Divina, in questo ruolo ed altri non aveva rivali. In quel tempo era nel pieno dei suoi mezzi vocali ed interpretativi, lo si sente con quale scioltezza e facilità riesce a modulare la sua corposa potente voce da sembrare alla portata di tutte, ma solo lei poteva trasmettere quel senso di "Stupore, meraviglia, suoni che si snodano facili bellissimi". Performance inimitabile. Beautiful MARIA❤

On peut applaudir la performance, la technicité, la bravoure. On en prend plein les oreilles, mais le cœur est vide...

This is one (LOuise) of those pieces that we always find nice when we hear and soon forget about it! Not in Calla's voice and interpretation! As in so many other cases, she makes something extraordinary out of it, something that goes straight into our hearts and make us feel like crying immediatelly! Nothing is the same once she has sang it... That's why when she sang Lucia and La Tetrazini heard herd, she went backstage in tears and told La Callas that she had sang it all her life and just that evening understod it, after hearing that performance! I believe it!
